A good night out

I was hesitating whether or not to go out shopping yesterday evening. I needed to get a pair of shoes desperately as the current ones are not wearable. Keane seemed to be tired as he did not have much sleep since this morning. At 5.30pm, we decided to go out.

I bathed Keane, then Jane and then myself. Left home and headed to Sunway Pyramid. Jane was happy when I told her that we are entering into the Lion’s tummy. Keane, as usual, enjoyed the ride quietly.

Jane refused to let Keane use the stroller. PT has to carry Keane around while I tried to shop for my shoes. Only after browsing through a few shops, I managed to get a pair of shoes. Mission completed. We then headed for dinner. Jane shared nasi lemak with me and she enjoyed the food very much. Oh yes, she loved the milo drink. She finished 80% of the drink. Undeniably, the milo was nicely mixed. I breastfed Keane while having my nasi lemak. I am getting so pro to it now.

Jane then agreed to let Keane sleep on the stroller after much persuasion. We went to Giant to get some groceries. Jane was placed on the trolley with some balloons that we picked up on the way. While waiting to check out, I pushed the stroller to the side and played with Keane. To my surprise, he responsed. He laughed out loud. This was the third time he laughed out loud. I truly enjoyed the moment.

It turned out to be a good night out for everyone.

Learnt the ‘skill’

Just 2 days of practicing, Keane is able to turn from ‘facing up’ position to ‘tummy down’ position.

At first it was like half way through, as if he is lying side way. Jane said Keane wanted to hug bolster… We helped him by giving him a gentle rush. I thought he will need more practices before he is able to do it by himself (as he should be quite clumsy with his weight of 6.5kg). To our surprise, the next day, he is able to DO it.

He was happy. He laughed out loud upon completion of the act (Is this coincidence?). It was so nice to hear him laugh. It is the best laughter in the world. Jane was happy too. We kept teasing him so that he continued laughing… We recorded his laughter.

Spending time with Jane

In another 1 month's time, Jane will have another brother/sister. She will no longer enjoy the exclusive attention from us. I wanted to spend as much quality time as possible with her, when she is the only child in the family. She kept telling me that "you cannot sayang the baby, you must saying Jane only..". As little as 3 years-old, she can even feels that the world around her is going to be different. Oh dear Jane, I will always love you as much as I can... look at the bright side, you will have another person to play with you, talk to you and share the problem with you when you grow older..

Jane and her cousins

My daughter, Ee Jane (the one in the center of the photo) was having a great time last weekend together with her cousins who came from Penang. We went to Bukit Tinggi on Sunday. When we reached there, it was raining. We had to seek for shelter at a small hut in the Botanical Garden. This photo was taken in the hut.
